The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is America’s most famous motorcycle event. About 600,000 bikers and other visitors attended the 70th annual rally in 2010…quite a change from the event begun in 1938 by the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club with the help of J.C. "Pappy" Hoel, owner of a local motorcycle shop.
